Bohemian (Boho) Jewellery: Where to get it Pt. 1

http://glamradar.com/how-to-get-the-boho-chic-look/

As you all know, the boho trend has been huge this year - you see it in stores from designer brands to more affordable ones. I've been following this trend closely, though I have to admit, it never caught my eye until this year.

I've been on the hunt for midi/ knuckle rings and normal rings, and today I want to share with you some of the places I've found for bohemian jewelry.

Links to the website are in the post. For more pictures of the item selection, click the appropriate shop's picture and you will be taken to their instagram.

Dixi

Here is a good sample of pieces from Dixi.
I'm sure many of you have heard of Dixi. It is a UK brand that specializes in boho jewellery. I would say this is your best bet for rings, necklaces, and bracelets. It provides a wide selection of boho-style jewellery, all of the stones in a clear light blue hue. Dixi does offer free shipping on international orders over the price of £50 GBP ($97.44 CAD), else it is a £9.90 GBP ($19.23 CAD) shipping fee. Some of the pieces you can find for a cheaper price elsewhere, but most are unique designs. The prices are in the moderate to pricier range - starting at £12 GBP ($23 CAD) for the more simple rings to about £38 GBP ($74 CAD) for the more statement pieces with huge gemstones.

Empty Casket

Empty Casket is another one of UK's most popular boho jewellery brands. They also sell clothing and home decor. They offer worldwide shipping at £10 GBP ($19.49 CAD). Some pieces, particularly the gemstone pieces, can also be found at Dixi. In terms of pricing, Empty Casket is priced relatively the same as Dixi, if not, $2 CAD or $3 CAD pricier. Whereas Dixi provides mostly blue gemstones (topaz, moonstone, labradorite), Empty Casket has more variety (turquoise, moonstone, onyx, amethyst, quartz). Empty Casket is your best bet to a one-stop shopping spree for all your boho needs.

The Rogue and the Wolf

The Rogue and the Wolf statement pieces
If you are searching for statement pieces, The Rogue and the Wolf is a great place to start (and you probably won't have to search anymore). Their pieces combine brass and gemstones to establish a grunge, bohemian, tribal look. I would say the biggest difference between the Rogue and the Wolf and other bohemian jewellery stores is that their pieces are animal inspired. They ship free worldwide if you spend over £70 GBP ($136.41 CAD), which should be easy to do, considering their brass pieces go for anywhere from £28 GBP ($54 CAD) to £125 GBP ($244 CAD), and rightfully so - those are very stunning pieces. Note that these pricings only apply to the rings.

Blood Moon Jewellery

If you are looking for more affordable basic gemstone jewellery, I recommend Blood Moon Jewellery. They carry similar gemstone rings seen from Dixi and Empty Casket, at a much more affordable price. In addition, they carry the many of the same silver detailing, but different stones, so that you can choose which colour gemstone or type of gemstone you want. Their shipping, priced at £9 GBP ($17.52 CAD) is also slightly less costly than the other three. Their pieces go from £15 GBP ($28 CAD) to £21 GBP ($41 CAD). Again, these prices are in regards to the rings only.

That's it for now ladies.
I have a part two to the Boho Jewellery coming next week, featuring even more affordable Etsy sellers. Follow me on instagram to see when it is released! As always, leave comments or critiques below. :)
