Urban Outfitters Canada Shipping - No Duties

Today I have some exciting news for you ladies. Yes, it's exactly as I have stated above. Urban Outfitters now offers shipping to Canada without any duties charge. 

Back in May, I was shopping at Urban Outfitters at the Eaton's location. My sister had inquired about an item we saw on the website, during which the UO sales associate had informed her that it did not exist in store. However, she let my sister in on the big insider news - UO was opening a warehouse in Canada, which meant that you can then order online without having to pay the hefty duties charge. 

She noted that it would happen some time in June, and since then, I have checked UO's international shipping policies every week. Last night, when I checked, I noticed this:

Did you catch that? All orders, flat rate shipping of $7.95 - Shipping rates are inclusive of shipping and duties. 

I'm surprised they didn't blatantly promote this on the landing page. 

Anyway, happy shopping ladies! Some things to keep in mind though. 

1. If you can find the items in store, its better to buy it there. Just because I find that the items in store price match the prices online. If you see shorts on sale for $39 online, they will be $39 in store.
2. Be aware that US to CAD currency exchange right now is 1USD=1.24CAD. That's relatively high. Try to convert everything while you shop to make sure you are still happy paying that higher Canadian price.
3. Some items will probably not be available to ship to Canada. This one is just my logical reasoning. The warehouse couldn't possible have every single item in stock. Items such as furniture or watches will probably not be available for shipping to Canada.
