October is one of my favourite months of the year. Summer just ended shortly a while ago, school started a month ago, and the first real holiday to look forward to is Thanksgiving! Not to mention autumn pieces (booties, knit sweaters - the likes) and the leaves are changing colours!

Thanksgiving = Turkey and in my very asian family, we do it no differently. My dad cooks up a stuffed turkey-roast beef-mashed potato feast and we call all our friends over, since our closest immediate family are all in the States.

The key to these family bashes are comfortable outfits, since you'll be lounging around the house all day, but you still want to look good. With comfort in mind though, and taking in consideration of the weather, I put together this denim on denim look.

I paired a light denim button down with a flowy white tank and very comfortable ripped-knee jeans.

I think this shot gives you a better perspective of the jeans. They are dark blue in colour, and both knees are distressed, not slitted.
